MIRP: Altered Carbon/Snapphalopod

The Snapphalopod was recently seen moving over land, which only happens about once a century when it surfaces for air.

This monster is also know as "the floating island" because it is often covered in trees and is indistinguishable from an island. Estimated to be 10,000 years old, this specimen is the home of a native tribe that until recently has remained untouched for centuries.
