Spotted this fella as we headed eastbound on the Oklahoma Turnpike, one night last August around 7 PM.
He had no arms, so he couldn't thumb a ride -- but I'm assuming he was trying to get to Tulsa, where there's a well-known shelter for abused and homeless monsters. We didn't pick him up because at around 9 feet tall, he wouldn't have fit in our car.
I read somewhere that 18-wheelers - when they're not transporting food - will usually stop and let these guys ride in the trailer.
